For Educators

Why Science Choreography?

Bringing Science Choreography into the curriculum enriches our teaching and learning by our students in many ways. An overview is here.

For each of the modules we have developed, you can choose which of the many parts fit your content goals and your students. There are overviews, videos, PowerPoint Slides, lesson plans, sample Writing Assignments, and further links, each of which can be used as is, or tailored to fit your needs.

During the Class

Exploring Science Choreography in different classroom settings, from middle and high school to college, we have identified helpful teaching approaches, and have suggestions on how to help your students have a positive experience. These are discussed here.

Planning a New Classroom Session

The Teaching Modules presented here give examples of embodied learning in the classroom.  If you would like to explore other topics, here is a framework of questions that can be helpful in planning Science Choreography classroom sessions.

Tools Across the Curriculum

Individual embodied learning tools can be used in many different classroom settings. Indeed, this project has changed much of our teaching across the curriculum. Examples are here.
